Officer in dog death gets oral reprimand, counseling
San Marcos Police Department has completed their investigation of a traffic stop that ended with the death of a dog. Local resident Michael Gonzalez and his girlfriend, Krystal Hernandez, were rushing their teacup poodle, Missy, to a veterinary clinic in New Braunfels to save their life-threatened “baby”.

City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation & Texas State University Recreation Departments Present:
Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 6:00-9:00 PM
Farmer Fred’s Fall Carnival in San Marcos on October 27th will be held at the City Park Recreation Hall and all ages welcome! Admission is Free. There will be an age-grouped costume contest, free activities and games with prizes & candy. Registration for the costume contest is from 6PM-6:45PM. See costume contest schedule below. There will also be Hay Ride ($1), a Haunted House ($1), Jiggle Bug Express Train ($2), and much more. Bring the family out for a fun, spooky time. For more information, contact (512) 393-8400.
