Mother’s Day treats

Some lucky San Marcos mothers received hand-decorated cakes from their children on Mother’s Day, thanks to HEB and the staff of Travis Elementary School. Through a special partnership, students were able to purchase a cake from HEB at a nominal cost and decorate it with icing and sprinkles. Cyndi Campus, Travis staff, said, “The kids had so much fun and were able to express their creativity.” Most of the children serves as “taste testers,” licking their fingers and making sure that the icing and sprinkles were top-notch for their moms.
