Incoming Rattlers get taste of Van Nest system

The Incoming Rattler football players are getting a taste of what it takes to be a San Marcos Rattler this week on the main campus. All incoming 7th, 8th, and 9th graders are working on basic skills and the players are also receiving individual instruction from Rattler football staff.The coaches are working with the players on weigh training, nutritional information during the week long camp. The coaches also are providing individual training from Quarterbacks to Special Teams.

Players are required to have physicals by Monday to start two a days. The coaches are taking special precautions to keep the players hydrated in the days of 100 plus heat in San Marcos.
