Hays County Sheriff’s Deputy passes away

At 12:30pm, September 4, 2008, Hays County Sheriff’s Office Transportation Deputy Fernando Amaya passed away at the intensive care unit of Brackenridge Hospital. Deputy Amaya received massive head injuries in an auto / bicycle collision on Monday, August 25, 2008.

Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
