An ongoing investigation is currently underway by the San Marcos Police Department. An unidentified male was allegedly “hanging off a bridge on River Road,” according to Commander W.B. Glasgost. A nearby resident, David Flores, said he heard a train blowing his horn repeatedly at about 6 a.m. Friday morning, and he said police arrived at the scene moments later.”An Ambulance left here at about 7:30 and the police had the area blocked off,” said Flores. “They weren’t letting anybody through; I just thought it was a wreck or something.”

Flores said that portion of River Road was blocked off from about 7 a.m. until approximately noon.  At last report, a train was still stopped on those tracks.  The Police Department is not releasing any information at this time, but we will keep you updated with any new developments as story unfolds.
